About Adriana
A warm, attentive approach to your wellbeing
Adriana Costa de Almeida is a qualified Complementary Healthcare Practitioner whose journey with massage began more than 25 years ago.
After her career took her in other directions for a number of years, Adriana returned to complementary healthcare with a desire to deepen her knowledge of the human body and better understand the important connection between physical health, emotional wellbeing and the whole person.
This led her to complete an HND in Complementary Healthcare with Practitioner Status (Merit), followed by a BSc (Hons) in Health and Social Care (2:1). Her commitment to her studies was recognised when she was named Student of the Year, and she later achieved second place in an academic presentation on Health and Wellbeing at Cardiff Metropolitan University.
Her university training included holistic massage, clinical reflexology, clinical aromatherapy, anatomy and physiology, psychology, and professional clinical practice. Alongside her professional spa experience, Adriana has also gained valuable clinical experience through university placements, including working within an NHS cancer care setting.
Adriana believes that no two people — and no two treatments — should be exactly the same. She takes time to listen, understand your individual needs and adapt each treatment accordingly, combining professional knowledge and experience with a warm, compassionate approach.
At Cura Holistic Therapy, her aim is simple: to create a calm and supportive space where you feel listened to, respected and genuinely cared for.

Adriana holds an HND in Complementary Healthcare and a BSc (Hons) in Health and Social Care. She is a Full Member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) and holds professional insurance covering all treatments offered at Cura.
